I'll keep dropping it, Mike Pereira said no catch, are some of you on here suggesting you know more than a former VP of officiating?
Just be sure to also keep dropping that he also said he wasn't sure if there was a football move, and that alone would actually make it not indisputable.

Yes. Third foot down after catch he is slightly pushing off trying to push himself to goal line and he had also started to extend ball after trying to use right hand to stay off ground (but right forearm ended up hitting ground anyway). Should have been down where right forearm hit.

After seeing more replays (I did not see it live) even throwing out football move after 3 feet & a forearm I am not even sure a video actually shows ball touched ground before he got control of it again standing up in end zone, so it also seems to be inconclusive with video about ball touching ground.

Pereira has been dead arse wrong multiple times during games this year, and earlier this year tweeted out in support of a bad call that the NFL later apologized for.

His opinion means nothing to me. Again, if he said what you say he did, he is DIRECTLY CONTRADICTING THE OFFICIAL NFL RULEBOOK. Stupid things said by qualified people don't cease being stupid.

How is there even a debate? Under NFL rules, it's not a catch. No grey area.

NFL rules are all about the grey area.

2. If you are falling then you never have complete control of your body on the possession; therefore, I don't understand how anyone constitutes that as a football move. Honestly doesn't seem debateable at all.
no one can say definitively that they know he was not trying to stretch for the goalline.

3. Additionally, the ref called it a catch based on him catching the ball to the ground. GB challenged a completion not the fact it was a fumble or not.

the stretch/football move matters in that regard.

Pereira is a hack and consistently on the wrong side on controversial calls.

Lance Moore is completely down on the ground with possesion. The play is over and the defender kicks the ball out of his hands.

He regained possession while on the ground and then the defender knocked it out after possession had been established and the play was over

I have no clue how you can say Lance caught it and Dez didnt. If anything Dez actually made way more of a football move
