I actually like soccer.
I go to FCD matches all the time. Even this last year when they sucked arse I was able to make it out to about half their home games.

I would be furious if they cut down on the number of bowl.
Teams from places like WAC, Sun Belt, MWC, CUSA, Big East (when they lose their non-aq) would basically havae to be perfect to get to post season play. A couple losses and they have nothing to play for because a 6-6 team from an AQ would be selected over them. See: (6-6) Iowa State being selected over (9-3) LA Tech in the Liberty Bowl.
There is no reason to cut down on bowls, none.
