He’d be a great 5th grade coach if this is an “accomplishment”. And “not quitting”, ironically, is a further indication of just how bad he has been. Quitting would at least explain the constant double-digit losses. They’re actually trying and getting thumped over, and over again

We have not done worse? He’s made ncaa tournament three times. We have employed Johnny Jones and Trent Johnson. I get it he has underachieved but let’s hold the verdict until there is an even playing field. How would LSU football fare if they were last in the SEC in NIL spending. This is a whole new and evolving world in college athletics.

Trent and Jones both had made the tourny at LSU and previous stops.

Since you're so content on defending McMahon (albeit your defenses of him are terrible and really further prove my point), maybe you can finally tell me what McMahon does well as a coach.
Just tell us one thing his teams here have done well.
Unfortunately, I'm an LSU fan, not a Murray St fan. And Ja Morant isn't walking through that door.
There's more evidence that Murray St made the coach, not the other way around.

That’s ?? true. I’m pulling for LSU basketball. Still, reality is Scotty 2 fatty made a bad hire. McMahon has been beyond bad and both deserve all the criticism.

He's somehow managed to combine Trent Johnson's boring personality and inability to build a complete team with the complete lack of control of the players and non-existent in-game coaching we suffered through with Johnny Jones. I honestly think LSU would have trouble finding a coach this impressively incompetent if we were looking for it. McMahon is closer to a high school coach than a P5 coach.

Yep the worst part about TJ was he had no personality couldn’t recruit or motivate. When he was handed talent he won and then he couldn’t get it back.
JJ could get players but couldn’t coach or control them
MM is boring as frick, brings no excitement, has had players quit every year some mid year. His teams have no identity other than sucking, we can’t hit 3s and he has them jacking threes up. He can’t adjust as seen by our second half’s.
