With 4 losses? The winning streak against Kentucky, South Carolina, North Texas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern? 8-9 teams in the SEC would've gone undefeated against those teams too. Doesn't make them a top 10 team this year.
They also made two playoff teams beat them on the last possession (Oklahoma and Alabama). And lost on a flukey play to Florida. I think they were closer to a 10-2 team last year than 7-5. I think 10-2 is about right this year with the possibility of a playoff ceiling. I do think they beat Bama and Florida to end the streaks this year.

Call me crazy, but I think Tenn wins the SEC this year. They'll upset either LSU or Bama in the SEC title game. UT is a loaded squad this year.

For a sleeper I am going with Utah. They return almost their entire OL (which was excellent last year) and return 7 starters from a really good defense. They were 10-3 last year and are outside the top 25 (and picked to finish 3rd in the south). They must replace Devontae Booker but Joe Williams looked good as a backup last year and they return that line. Also need to break in a new QB, and that might be what holds them back.
Beat me to it. Also, USC won that division last year at 8-6. It should be a four team race, but UCLA losing its offensive line is gonna hurt Rosen more than people think. I really like Utah and their defense. In the north, I think people are forgetting about Oregon. It's not like they were terrible last year (9-4), and they had some injury troubles.
Also, I think the Big 12 is wide f'n open. Kansas is terrible, and Iowa St is Iowa St, but almost every other team in that conference can beat any of the others. An unexpected team is gonna rise out of that pack. No idea who.

you think harbaugh has the temperament to win 6 national championships at michigan???!?!?!?!?
Are you insinuating that Saban is a run of the mill football coach with no unique temperament?

Can't look it up, but I think I heard someone say on their breakdown that their offensive line consists of 4 sophomores and a RS Fresh.? Good luck with A&M's line Saturday. If UCLA wants to keep Rosen alive, they might have to gel/grow up quick

A&M and UCLA will be a contest of which team has a crappier offensive line.

I've admitted that Saban is a once in a lifetime coach.
Harbaugh has been successful every stop he's been at back to San Diego.
Because a lot of people don't like his personality, I knew people wouldn't agree with me. None of that off the field stuff bothers me. Bottom line is always results to me as far as football goes.

OVERHYPED: Ole Miss: preseason #11, and there's no way they end up there. I just can't see it.
SLEEPER: Oregon: preseason #24, and it'll take but two lucky breaks for them to end up in the top 10. Three lucky breaks, and they're in the playoff.

They're Top-25 going into the season, but does Louisville count?

UCLA's Oline should be fine. Guards are a bit of a concern, but both tackles are studs. I believe RG is the position most concerning for them. I do think A&M is just the better team right now. That defense should be great in Year 2 under Chavis.

I think Ole Miss should be around 15 to 20. Chad Kelly and that offense should be one of the best in the SEC. I think that schedule is just too tough for them to win more than nine games.

Really will be keeping an eye on Washington this season. They've been decent with Peterson but they came outta nowhere this summer. What are they ranked 15? I know it's over Houston nonetheless

I agree that their offense will be potent, but their defense will be putrid. The starting LB's will all be Freshmen on a defense that gave up over 400 yards/game last year. Teams ran all over them.
