The last 20 years I think they'd be top 10
The championship caliber teams are being over glorified, which is understood.

Are we going strictly by stats? Cause if so, then I'd imagine they're definitely top10

Well, since stats show how good a player was, and that's the whole point of this thread, I would say uhhh yeah

i agree and quarterbacks are being under glorified IMO.
the fact that winston and manziel, for example, were so much better than mettenberger cannot be overlooked. i would probably take tebow and 2 guys or cam and 2 guys, honestly, so im probably not within the spirit of the thread.

3k yard passer, 1k rusher and 2 1k receivers.
Not really that impressive.
Hell, Clemson pretty much did it in 2011
Tajh Boyd - 3896 yards
Andre Ellington - 1081 yards
DeAndre Hopkins - 1405 yards
Sammy Watkins - 708 yards

the auburn one is an awful stretch in the opposite direction, admittedly. botched that one and deserve to be shite on for it.
i definitely stand by the A&M and FSU trios, though.

Yet the one guy that didn't hit 1000 yards (2 games injured and 2 for smoking that green) is better than anyone on the LSU team that year.
This thread is about combos in CFB. Not about the stats they put up.
Gurley is the best RB in CFB right now but his stats certainly won't show it at the end of the season due to this NCAA bullshite.

I would give an honorable mention to
Troy Smith
Antonio Pittman
Tedd Ginn JR

Because I'm a nostalgic Michigan fan right now, and Tom Brady's era was right before I can remember much about Michigan football. Henson, Thomas, and Terrell were the earliest I remember

You can't for certain say he's better than Gordon
