he went on a supermodel impreganation tear a few years ago. got some work done on his face and hairline. he walks around like a male model now, esp if he's making public appearances outside of football. etc

Are we seriously talking about a quote from a decade ago?

Kraft called him "Kyle Brady", yeah the tight end, and he was a friggin 6th round draft pick and he wanted to get noticed. It worked

Why dont you make a thread on Peytons quote saying to the Colts "If you dont pick me, im going to kick your arse for the next 15 years"?

obviously that has to do with his wife who's turning him into a ken doll However when i see his interviews pre-game and post-game I still see the same tom brady from years ago with that "oh gosh gee" humility you spoke of.

the pats won 11 games w/o Brady... i'd say the best decision was nabbing belechik from the jets. With out him there probably is no Tom Brady in NE (or anywhere for that matter).

of course not that's ridiculous. He hands out at least 200+ and then allows them to kiss his feet

Brady said this before he took a snap and before Belichick had won a single game as the Pats coach. Its not like he said this a week ago or something so what youre saying is irrevlavent to his comments

I hate Tom Brady!!

He's dating a supermodel with more money than him, is a 1st ballot HOFer, and is incredibly good looking. What an a-hole!

Well, Brees does seem about a million times cooler/more personable than Brady.

I think this is just sports urban legend like the Jordan cut from his HS team.

Kraft probably just making it up.

I like my athletes with a lil bad guy to them so Brady doesn't qualify either

This - plus the fact that, according to the link, Brady made the comment (according to Kraft) in response to the owner remarking that he was the team's 6th round pick in the draft. I think it's reasonable to assume that Brady was trying to make the point that he felt he was a real bargain (i.e., a good decision) at that slot. Context, context, context...

Reminds me of the old Mac Davis song
quote:

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the mirror cause I get better loking each day. To know me is to love me I must be a hell of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble but I'm doing the best that I can.

Taken totally out of context. Ive never heard Brady say anything even like this in public. Not even close.

quote:

“He’s matured beautifully and he still kept his humility. I’m really happy that we have him as our quarterback.”

This is totally correct. Haters are really just jealous. Ive noticed this especially amoung Manning and Saints fans. They want so bad for their guy to be as good as Brady!!

Brady is a total badass. As close to Montana as we will see.

Really? A MILLION times?

Ridley said that Brady is totally down to earth even with the rookies, offered them places to stay and made them feel 100% welcome. Also that he's the hardest working guy at practice.

I guess if he was all up in the NFL union negotiations that would make him cooler!

I don't have anything against Brady personally, but a lot of his off the field behavior are things typically perceived as douchey. The plastic surgery, lame Cologne ads holding sheep, etc. I know that you love the pats because of Ridley, but let's be real here bro. I like Lebron but can admit that he does some douchey stuff
