If he had just put below average he'd have been right there with Homa and Aberg

Great shot of Scotties footwork, the fact he is so consistent with all that going on is remarkable imo.

I forgot who said it, but they essentially said that it's like Scottie is on skates.

Would Bryson have won this tournament with just average putting?

He’s gained over a half stroke putting during the tourney FWIW. But most of that was because he gained 3.7 strokes putting on Thursday

Scheffler putting the entire world to sleep rn.

BORING!
he's got 6 birdies on Masters Sunday with 4 holes left. It isn't like he's just making 18 pars while everyone else crumbles.

he's gonna make 2 more birdies with the way he's hitting his irons.

I think we’re just witnessing Scheffler becoming what Tiger was.

This has been a very Tiger like back 9 on Sunday major. Everyone knows Scheffler's consistency means its unlikely he will come back and pressures them into mistakes.

Speaking of Tiger.... I wonder how many other golfers have both won AND finished dead last (of those that played all 4 rounds) in the Masters?

Not taking anything at all away from him. Dude walked 72 holes of golf over 4 days on a bum leg... for the first time in how long? That alone is worth something in my book.

dead last? He made the cut. He wasn't last.

Plenty I would imagine since former champions get a lifetime exemption. Vijay was 2 shots away from doing it instead of Tiger

You make the cut, you aren’t last.

You'd think SS was playing a different course than the field for the last hour, I can't think of a hi-light worthy shot by another player in a half dozen holes. Very Tiger prime like.

If we are counting dead last at the cut, Doug Ford HAS to hold that record. Dude was an 86-86 machine for a full decade. They tried to get him to abstain from playing for years.

Of those who played all 4 rounds he did, at least according to the Masters app...

Finau - +13
Singh - +14
Olesen - +14
Woods - +16

Adam Scott finished 54th in 2021.

Debatable if that’s “dead last”, but he was 54th out of 54 who made the cut.
