What’s does Texas losing to Maryland have anything to do with Nebraska winning 9plus games you dolt. Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit is it buddy?

Nothing really. Just find it funny that you are chest thumping when Texas is pretty horrible this year as well.

Once again. Apples and oranges.

Dude bet me 100 bucks Nebraska would 9 games. I said I’ll take that bet. Now they suck and won’t win 9 games. What does Texas sucking have to do with me chest thumping about winning a bet that has nothing to do with Texas football. If I have to explain this again, there is no hope for you.

no one said anything about recruiting... it was more along the lines of why would he turn down UF for Nebraska?

and is Nebraska still a coveted position?

Frost coming to Nebraska is one of those coaching hires where he wont even be on a leash the first 5 years. They realize how bad off Riley left that program so hes got free reign and unlimited resources for the first 5 years before anyone in the university thinks of turning on the seat warmer.

It may not be a top tier job but it's got top tier facilities and fanbase in this state. If he gets them back to 10 wins with his recruits, expect to see a power shift towards Lincoln.

The loss yesterday sucked btw. I stated at the beginning of the season that 6 wins would be great and that was one of those wins I was counting. Blergh.

I don’t see how Nebraska can ever return to the top while playing in the Big 10.

Easy. Recruit and get better. Frost has the appeal because of his run with UCF. Nebraska is going to do everything for him to get a winner - the alumni and casual fans out here support them 1000%. This is kinda like DiNardo when he started at LSU. Take a losing team and take them to crappy bowls to start with.

I guess my point has to do with recruiting.
TV is now the Midwest and northeast for Nebraska and it does not seem like a good recruiting market for you.

I sort of like NE and Frost so I hope for a return to good days. Just skeptical.

I've heard tommy frazier is already talking shite, and that was after 0-1. Can't imagine that'll improve after 0-2.

UCF having that glory season last year will go down as the best thing that has happened to the Huskers in the last 5 years.

Nebraska is screwed. Probably the biggest loser in conference realignment. Their ceiling is now that if Iowa

Nebraska’s ceiling is as high as they want it. Huskers still have more resources, fan support and money than most other programs.

Vast majority of Husker fans are more than willing to give Frost the time it takes to rebuild.

He’s already done a tremendous job recruiting. That will only improve as Frost puts his system in place.

Frost inherited a disaster, going to take a while to fix it.

Nebraska Lege needs to create a program like TOPS. Stack the trenches with corn-fed, in-state farm boys on academic scholarship. Save the 85 football schollies for out of state skill position guys.

I don’t think it’s unteasonable to see them turn into a Wisconsin like program. At that point you just need a few breaks to have a special season.

First step is getting to the Quicklane/Pinstripe Bowl again. I'll take a year ban if they dont get there at minimum by the end of 2020.
