As expected D12 is no longer the premiere rim defender in the NBA. He had a great run, had MIT papers named after him, etc. but nowadays there are other players who are just a little younger w little more spring in they step.

His career in HOU overlapped with maybe the GOAT NBA team in GSW. Barkley Stockton and Malone all suck too.

Dude... Stockton and Malone made back to back finals. Howard is about to get bounced out of the 1st round for the second time in three seasons with the Rockets.

I can assure you there won't be any Clips fans saying "but we made it one series further than you" to CC fans after GSW bounces them from the playoffs. When the goal is a title you don't claim moral victories by saying that you won one series or two series.

Your entire basis for arguing the Rockets as "elite" this year was that they made the Western Conference finals last year.
