I didn’t understand the Rams game plan at all. A limited offense and they consistently gave the 49ers receivers a 10 yard cusion for easy completions.

I mean, the QB doesn’t even have the ball in that moment. Would you be OK with a LB laying out a WR young over the middle and Superman squashing afterwards?

Let us not forget that this was considered roughing against Brady:

So yeah, 30 late hits and driving a dude into the ground in 2025 should have resulted in at least one roughing call tonight.

49 pass 0lays for a QB playing hurt and taking lots of shots seems like a lot.
13 targets to RBs
13 targets to TEs
22 targets to WRs

Passes leaned short underneath in the middle. That was not a brutal 49

Full retard

And then they went back to it in OT and gave them their best drive since halftime

To be fair the last time a game was on the line with a Rams field goal attempt Jalen Carter happened.

That said you got beat by your arch rival who was playing with one hand and four fingers tied behind their back. You can't let that happen if you want to be on the list of Super Bowl contenders.

Mac had a classy response when the media asked a question to stir up a QB controversy:

Kyren Williams, 3 dropped passes, 2 fumbles, slid down a yard short on 3rd down in OT instead of fighting for the first, just an awful player that people think is good

Seems like he’s matured a ton over the last few years. Good for him. He’s probably going to get another shot at a starting job next year

Nobody would have succeeded on that Pats team. Glad he got out of there and was able to revive his career
