Do you even have to ask?

Any story about positive cases means literally nothing has happened to anyone.

You have to look for "man dies in motorcycle crash due to Covid" to find out that Covid is bad

You have it all figured out don't you?

Except they have already said some of the cases are symptomatic dumbass

quote:

"We're doing everything we can to make players safe and that this doesn't happen again," Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said during a press conference Wednesday.

Vrabel said some of the players who tested positive are symptomatic.

"Some of them are indeed experiencing flu-like symptoms. Nothing, I think, out of the ordinary, we anticipate that they will feel better shortly," he said.

"Nobody is to blame. We're in a pandemic," Vrabel added, saying the team has followed guidelines closely.

I doubt it. Something like 80% of people who catch covid have no symptoms or super mild symptoms.

The Steelers got fricked because of this.

NFL better give them a great bye week next year.

I saw 3 more tested positive. 8 players now. What happens if they don’t play next week? Can’t make up 2 games.

Doesn’t make any sense for the league to knock a game off everyone’s schedule so it would probably be a forfeit by the Titans if the league won’t let them play

Good lord, make it stop.

All I can think is that the bus/plane rides from the Minnesota game were some sort of super spreader event. That’s the last time any of these guys were together (if they’re not all catching it from multiple outside sources, which I have to imagine is unlikely).

I’m fully preparing for the NFL to punish Tennessee by making us forfeit the Buffalo game, and I honestly wouldn’t even be that upset about it.

We clearly dropped the ball when all the other teams are doing fine.

Yeah I don’t want to have to forfeit a game but I don’t see another possibility if they don’t get this under control. Seems like the incubation period is 5ish days so if the players are staying away from each other we gotta be close to seeing no more positives

Yep. If we get more positives tomorrow then I think we can safely assume something else is going on and our players/staff are totally ignoring protocol, and we’d be justifiably punished by the NFL.

At this point, I don’t care if the Titans have to field mostly practice players, I just don’t want lose without even playing and remain an embarrassment.

Any chance they would just cancel games and not forfeit them? Honestly no idea what they would do.

I thought I heard the NFL had a contingency plan for such an event like we’re seeing with the Titans, but I have no idea what it is.

The other teams on the Titans schedule will eventually complain and lobby to the NFL if they keep moving our games around, because it will ultimately impact the entire league and playoff qualification.

I could see the NFL just saying “frick it” and punishing the Titans for not being able to contain the spread by forcing forfeits.
