A league source just texted me: "We are shutting Tennessee down until Saturday"
That means no Titans coaches or players can be in the building.

A league source has confirmed Titans have 3 new players have tested positive and 5 new personnel positives for the Covid-19. I'm told no decision has been made about this weekend's game against the Steelers in Nashville. The Titans facility is expected to be shut down.

The
@Vikings
played
@Titans
on Sunday and now also have had their facility shut down until further notice, per source.

There were no positive tests with the
@Vikings
when notified this morning but the NFL is taking the safe approach via protocols with facility shutdown, source added.

It’s like the NFL is actively trying to run fans off.

All positive tests are followed by two additional tests to confirm as positive or determine they false positives. If the Titans truly haven’t confirmed these test results, as their statement suggests, it remains possible that some or all of these results are false positive.

This is gonna be a shitshow.

Games are probably gonna get canceled because of some false positive tests.

Steelers a few weeks back had players test "positive" and all the tests were false-positives.

I don’t understand why things have to be shutdown for folks who test negative.

It's absurd. But this isn't the nfl. They're following the CDC protocols i.e if you come in contact with someone that test positive you quarantine for 14 days. Regardless of how you test. Again, absurd. But let's not blame the nfl here

I don’t understand why the NFL didn’t build in an extra bye week and/or off week after the season for this reason. Having a team forfeit is nonsense

I think the nfl is letting negative tests beat that though. So the Titans who were exposed should be cleared by Thursday/Friday if they test negative twice
