from hero to zero in record time

if he didnt run his mouth so much and trash other teams maybe he could get a minimum contract somewhere

He's 33 with a massive injury history, even if most were just minor. What was crazy was the Titans not realizing that and trading a 2nd for him.

He was healthy for a year maybe 2

ETA: He's played 4 full seasons in his 10 year career.

They really couldn't get a trade out of him? Some desperate team would have bitten.

Not for a 33 yr old that's missed half of the last two seasons.

In 11 seasons, he played over 14 games in a season 7 times. I feel like that's pretty healthy for that long of a career

Yeah as much as I hate Falcons and Gumps I wouldn't call Julio a bad guy. Maybe he's mixing him with dogshit Roddy White.

I still consider Jerry Rice the #1 NFL player of all-time due to his longevity at a position where it's almost impossible to sustain production into your late 30s and 40s. Rice putting up 1,200 receiving yards at age 40 and over 6,000 receiving yards after turning 36 years old are two of the most incredible sporting achievements ever.

The Titans were never going to be a good fit for him. I wonder if he has anything left in the tank. Maybe he can get signed by a team with an upper-tier QB and make some noise for a season or two if he can stay healthy.

It still blows my mind that he had over 8 TD in a season only once during his whole career.
