perhaps the biggest part of the triad regarding this whole deal

Can the LHSAA prove the Dad did this though. Speculation isn't good enough if you are taking a kids senior year away.

an Exec Comm composed very predominately of PUBLIC school principals voted unanimously to deny eligibility of a kid leaving a private school to go to a public school -

That is an awful argument.

They are biased since they are in the same system as the school that would pick up this player.

Many of those schools would have to play this team.

That point actually supports the notion that there was more likely corruption.

Still.

The notion that the system he was moving to gets to decide whether he makes the move is already fraught with bias, especially with schools that his accepting school would face being on the committee.

That is moronic.

And the school he is going to plays only 5A? They don’t have any non-division games?

From what I can tell it's all here say. No documents proving Andrew was recruited. Phone calls showing Hahnville didn't contact the father but the father contacted Hahnville. Proof that the VC Admin offered Andrew free tuition to stay along with the Dad a volunteer position. The kid should be eligible point blank.

Surely not the opposition.

I guess you would support Ole Miss, Alabama, Miss St, Auburn, etc., all deciding whether Burrows ended up at LSU, or any other transfer for that matter.

That would make complete sense.

A board of 5 to 7 members consisting of athletic association members from bordering states. This will help limit bias and give the kids a fair shake.

This is really irrelevant in the whole discussion - If it is only here say - the EC would have voted the kid eligible

Do ya'll remember the outcry when a certain all american linebacker transferred to WM in the late 90s?

we can disagree on it and I respect your opine, but I have been around many of these types of transfer cases over the years Inlcuding mine - and I am not at all surprised how the vote went. I feel bad for the kid yes -but there were things the parents could have done to give him a better shot at being eligible and being a coach - he should have known this. Shoot where was this outcry for the southern lab kids last year or the mckinley kids this year

So limiting bias is a bad thing? And again where is the proof Andrew was recruited?

He doesn’t know anything.

His “keeping quiet” about something that is public record makes no sense either.
