Who had the better career?

LINK

Kareem:
quote:

"Jeez, I would say that Tim Duncan has had a better career just because they’ve been able to win more consistently, and they didn’t have to rely on Tim all the time.

Kobe has worn his body out. He’s only like 36 years old, and he’s worn his body out. It’s falling apart because of the stress that he had to do just taking on the load that he did, but he wanted to do it that way."

I'd say Duncan. Kobe has some blemishes on his legacy.

Duncan easily. There's really no discussion.

Duncan. Same number of titles, one more MVP, never had less than 50 wins his entire career. Keep in mind Duncan played four years of college too.

Duncan was on a consistently good team that was top tier coached

Kobe had that for a large portion of his career but not as consistent. Duncan has had an unbelievable career

Duncan is the best PF to ever play the game and I don't think its close.

Kobe is not the best at his position (even though he's close), so I give the edge to Duncan.

Titles are a wash IMO. 3 of Kobe's were really Shaq's.

Tim Duncan for sure. Kobe is borderline top 10. Duncan is like 7-8

Duncan has maintained his career in such a manner that has kept his team competitive and sustainable. Kobe had done the complete opposite.
