This is your link, which is supported with ZERO data

My link, from the actual stanford paper, provides actual data showing the MEDIAN incoming football players ACT score is a 26

Looking at the Stanford recruitment class of 2009 (this year was quite typical in terms of test scores), the median football player who reported scores got an 1800 out of 2400 on the SAT and 26 on the ACT

I had a killer forehand. Just not the one you can perform in public on a tennis court.

They probably make exceptions for the really talented guys assuming they're not getting like 800s or 16s but they are conscious of their athletes' academic credentials as a whole which is more than you can say for most

Many of these athletes are already pretty competitive academically
No they are not.

But, Stanford has a "holistic admissions standard", which means they can let in athletes with lower scores and still state they did not change the admissions process.....

quote:Yes they are. Stanford is still very much near the top when it comes to the academics of their athletes. Many truly are very smart
No they are not.

The 26 was the median. Is it not entirely possible that RS was the dumbest person on campus?

Well you arent eligible in the NCAA with a 16

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this guide, but it looks like you can easily be eligible in the NCAA with a 16 on the ACT.

A combined SAT score is calculated by adding critical reading and math subscores. An ACT sum score is calculated by adding English, math, reading and science subscores. A student may take the SAT or ACT an unlimited number of times before he or she enrolls full time in college.

But the way the media and many on here portray him, you'd think he was Myron Rolle or something.
Wait, people think Richard Sherman is smart?

Average ACT is 33. 87% score31 or better

I know a guy that played at LSU with a 16

Never thought to look it up before, but his name made headines again so I decided to google it. Right around the 50th percentile. Think he re-took it and broke 1,000, but still pretty striking, assuming the internet is right.
SAT scores are posted on the internet?
