False. The loudest roars were for the best golf shots...and most of them on the front were from Tiger. Even on the back, the loud roars were based on some spectacular iron shots. The other roars on #16 when guys hit it close were just as loud.
go watch a replay and tell me the crowd didnt want tiger to make that putt on 15. it looked like the crowd was more upset than tiger that he missed. face it, tiger makes the game more exciting because he is clearly the best player out there.
oh and to all the people who say that tiger is not in the young players' heads did you hear martin laird and jason day? everyone still knows tiger is the best and that when he is on, they have no chance.

This is what you said earlier. there were nothing but facts in that piece. Facts the Great Tiger didn't want exposed just like all of the other sordid FACTS he tried to keep from the public, including ones that his wife is aware of, but he paid to keep quiet as well.
People are also entitled to write opinion pieces about him just like they do everyone else. If you are man enough to accept the fame and praise and arse kissing when you are going good, you have to be man enough to accept critisism when you aren't going good. Tiger is a thin skinned little boy.

i am referring to the "tiger's done" and "tiger will never break jack's record" articles.
So people are "burning" Tiger and discrediting him when some have an opinion that he won't end up with the most major championships in the history of golf.

not justifying it, just telling you that part of why he is like this is because of that article.

He was certainly "on" yesterday and Day, Scott, and Schwartzel and Ogilvy all out played him. he does not hold the intimidation he once did. face it. He may win again but it won't be for intimidation.

Thats WHY he didn't win. To win the MASTERS you have to have thewhole package. But Tiger could have taken the HIGH road like Mcilroy and realized HE screwed up and he will be a better man after this. OH WAIT..... I guess Tiger DOESN'T have to say this anymore, cause HE is BETTER than anyone else.

they also had a couple of shots on him. and missing three footers is not "on".

quote:no question about that. the bottom line is the guy isnt far off. if we keeps hitting the ball like this his putting will come back. if he strikes the ball this well in the rest of the majors consistently, no way he doesnt win one
He had a GREAT chance

It was one of his best sunday performances in a major. He shot 67 on one of the toughest courese in the world and was actually tied for the lead. You can't have it both ways. You think unless he shoots 59 he isn't "on"?
The excuse making in this thread is incredible.

for someone who so adamantly calls others ignorant, you don't seem too far off.

you need to stop posting.of course its not a US OPen set up or rife with the conditions of an Open Championship but Sunday back nine masters is up there with the toughest situations in golf pressure wise. You are talking around in circles now.
