So people are "burning" Tiger and discrediting him when some have an opinion that he won't end up with the most major championships in the history of golf.
yes, considering how many he has and his age.
Posted on 4/11/11 at 2:25 pm to RammerJammerBammer
we should just put an asterisk next to Schwartzel's name since he really didn't win this one. tiger just wasn't "on". winner by default.

augusta is arguably the easiest major championship course so you just proved you dont watch much golf
WOW!!!! How old are you??? There is a REASON they play THE MASTERS in AGUSTA every year. I am really confused by what youjust posted. and then have the NERVE to tell someone THEY don't watch much golf. I have heard some STUPID shite THE LAST FEW DAYS but this takes the cake. Talk about losing any CRED. YOURS IS LONG GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

quote:well you said it was one of the toughest courses and that is hardly the case. Every year people win the masters by going low on the last nine at augusta. possible eagles everywhere. tiger played good on sunday. He didnt play GREAT. He played great on the front. It is not uncommon for players to have bogey free rounds and tiger had at least 2 bogeys. When tiger is on his game he doesnt 3 putt, make bogeys, or miss 3 footers. He played well but not great.
you need to stop posting.of course its not a US OPen set up or rife with the conditions of an Open Championship but Sunday back nine masters is up there with the toughest situations in golf pressure wise. You are talking around in circles now.

Tiger looks down on everyone else simply because he has so much more money than them. He honestly believes he is above everyone else and how dare they even look him in the eye. What a prick. He didn't even care about his own wife and kids. thought he was better than them too and still does.
You've hung out with Tiger Woods?

quote:yes because of the tradition and beauty. if you think augusta is harder than oakmont, pinehurst, or Bethpage you are an absolute fricking moron. i remember maybe one year that even par won the masters. the announcers say all the time it is so exciting because of all the birdies made.

So much for using facts in the discussion.

He was certainly "on" yesterday and Day, Scott, and Schwartzel and Ogilvy all out played him. he does not hold the intimidation he once did. face it. He may win again but it won't be for intimidation
the intimidation factor was always overrated. was rory intimidated by tiger yesterday? no, major golf is just really difficult. tiger just handles the pressure better than everyone else. he still does. dont let the miss putts fool you. he missed putts all the time back in the day. from 2006-2010 he lost the masters because of putting. do you remember that he finished bogey bogey to dimarco in 2005? it happens. he will find his stroke and start making clutch putts again.

Tiger threw away three shots on 12, 13, and 15 and when he finished he was 1 back. I don't know about you, but I'd be pissed too. People are looking what too much into that interview.
Posted on 4/11/11 at 2:35 pm to dukke v
he PGA and British have compatible winning scores but just about every US open course is harder than augusta
