I agree. I couldn't put it down. It really gives a lot of insight into Tiger's personality. And I only remember thinking Haney went over the line one time (he talked about a dinner he was having with Tiger and Elin and revealed some details of a conversation that was between Tiger and Elin).

A part that I found interesting was in the beginning of the book. The first time that Haney meet tiger when tiger was 16. Evidently tiger did not say much of anything at all - to the point of it being very awkward.
Haney said that he did not understand why tiger was so quiet and awarkward BUT Haney knew that was a reason why tiger won so much and from that day haney had a passion to learn why.
It's always amazing to me how really good teachers think and learn

I just read the first chapter and Haney said something about "he's become less of a golfer, and he'll never be the same again".

94 Tiger is Farting Hard!!!

I remember that. I think Haney said he had some of the Kuehne kids at his place the day Tiger came over.
There are several excerpts like that one that give some insight into how Tiger thinks that really are fascinating, like Tiger or hate him.

In 2000, The end of his follow through is nothing like any of the others. I could look at that gif all day.

It's crazy how much different is in 2013 than to all the other swings. It's a little more stiff/learned looking but I don't know shite. It shows one thing I've noticed before. Tiger really drops down and lunges at the ball more nowadays, like he's trying to compress all his energy. I wonder if that's to compensate for losing a little bit of power with age. And it is easy to say in retrospect but his 2000 swing really does look like a masterpiece. All of them are incredible but the 2000 stands out even to an untrained eye. His strength/flexibility were really peaking. I wish there was a better example from 2004. That looks like the only swing were he is hitting a higher lofted club.
eta: after watching them all carefully the 94/97 swings stand out as much as the 2013 swing. I can't even remember when he swung the club like that. It's much shorter with a nice slow back swing and then he explodes through the ball. He looks like he really changed his swing between 97 and 2000.

Absolutely. Looks like in 1997 he generated all of his power from a huge and quick hip rotation and kinda slinging the club into the ball, whereas from 2000 on he has tamed his hip rotation and generated/generates his power from the ground up, pushing off the ground like you said. I don't think it's a coincidence that he got a lot more muscular in the late 90's either, which allowed him to generate power while staying a lot more compact.
Props to op for this thread, there is a lot to be learned from this, especially wrt how to create power in the golf swing
