i know its early in the season but i would like to know what yall think of this team.. i mean were 5-1, took 2 of 3 from the riegning world series champs and swept the nationals.. relief pitching seems a little questionable but i like how the starters have looked and jordan schafer is off to a hot start.. what do yall think?

They will win the NL and meet the Yankees in the World Series.

makes you wonder what last year coulda been, had all the arms not gotten hurt. that being said, any kind of luck and guys stay healthy, i like the rotation, with hudson and hanson coming along later to add more arms / depth.... the bullpen is solid. hitting is getting it done, geaux braves , take back the division !!!!

I think Atlanta has the best starting rotation in the NL when T.Hudson comes back. We have so many starters that 1 or 2 will have be moved to the pen. The bullpen is good IMO and the hitting is good enough to get to the WS.

My thoughts?
I'm thinking Topless and Supa have had to change their undies at least once since the season started for fear of this year's Bravos.

Dude, chill. Preseason is over. We won't be beating up on the Stros nearly as much now.

If the rotation stays healthy (and that's a big if) they might have a chance at the wild card.
They're lacking that big homerun hitter to drive in some runs. (unless Francoeur can surprise the hell out of me and hit about .260/25/90)
Plus, you know Chipper will only play about 130-140 games and there will be at least a 2 weeks streak of Yunel Escobar seeming to be the only brave who gives a frick about winning/losing.
They have some talent, but all in all they're missing a big homerun hitter and a bullpen. The bullpen is what will cause the Braves to miss the playoffs if they don't luck out and get the wildcard.

Why can't they win the division? The Phillies look flawed to me, at least in their rotation. And if Hamels is out for an extended stretch they are going to be in big trouble.
The Braves rotation is better than the Mets too, but I still think the Mets will win this division. But there's no reason to think the Braves or Marlins can't give them a run for their money.
