Nats are one bat away from being very dangerous...16 LOB from Friday, 11 LOB today, ouch
They are so damn frustrating. I don't even want to talk about the pitching.

stros last in preseason, and next to last in regular season

whats new

i see where mike hampton is 0-1....if his hitting doesn't pickup soon, the stros will be in big trouble.

look for glavine to retire soon, and if francoeur (hot carl's fav brave) & schafer can stay solid the braves will at least get a wild card.

2009 Braves = 2008 Mets.

Score a lot of runs, lose a lot of leads.

i don't know if the braves will score a lot of runs but they will hit for high average and score enough runs to win with this starting pitching going deeper into the games. the bull pen has been fine with the exception of one blown game.. if gonzalez ever gets right then lookout..

The Braves have one of the best pitching staffs in the Majors including there pen sooooo, noo they will not lose a lot of leads. And noo they will not score a lot of runs this year. They will score enough to get the win, but the pitching will be the ones to get the job done.

And the reason we have been scoring so many runs is because we haven't really faced any pitchers. The phillies and the Nats have shitty pitchers.

Jordan Schafer can mash.

They need McCann for .310/27/102.

Chipper is old.

Jurrjens is going to win 17 games.

Mike Gonzalez needs to work out the kinks.

Thats a good summary.

this upcoming series with the florida marlins will help tell a little more about this years club.. bc the marlins have quality pitching and can definitely hit for power.
