While I believe Notre Dame has no business in playoffs, like ever. The 4th team has for the majority of this new system been terrible and shown a huge talent gap among the field.

They already brought college football backwards when they decided a committee of people should be in charge of the playoff. It's basically a glorified version of the old poll system.
Just because they pick 4 teams instead of 2 doesn't make it better.
