This is a tough conundrum the committee finds themselves in…

I don’t think Alabama deserves to be in personally. However you can’t kick them out and expect conferences to keep title games. That sets a terrible precedent. Tough spot.

Bama did go for it in their own red zone in 4th quarter

It doesn't. Dont get blown out and they wouldve been fine. Heck even a respectable 14 point loss wouldve been fine. -3 rushing yards is absolutely insane. They looked absurdly terrible and not like a playoff team. The precedent is don't look like you don't belong which Alabama based on that, 5-7 FSU loss, and struggling against bad to mediocre teams down the stretch and lost to OU at home because they couldn't score. They dont look like they belong.

They got absolutely dominated and had 82 yards late in the third quarter. Their offense was completely overmatched and they didn’t belong on the field with Georgia.
Georgia called a conservative offensive game after getting up 21 as they had no respect for alabamas inept offense, whose only points were on a drive kept alive by a dumbass mid level DB committing a PF and another PI on an uncatchable ball—both times on 3rd down

Whatever they do, there will be several unworthy teams. It’s a joke, and the whole thing is just a money grab.

I agree honestly. Sucks because I’ve always enjoyed this weekend but it’s pointless now.

Committee got what they wanted with BYU and Bama losing. All they'll do is swap ND and Bama at 9 and 10.

That's a dumb strawman argument already being thrown about....
The Committee isn't the Governor or Safekeeper of greedy Universities and TV or the Guardian of CFB.
They're there to pick the 12 teams for a Playoff based on Resume. This game is on Bama's Resume and the last thing people saw of Bama...looking inept. Bama can petition the SEC Conference to abolish Championship games for the future if they want to.
