You know McQueary grew up right there in State College. He went to school with Sandusky's adopted kids. He played sports all the way through school and camped at PSU. He played sports with some of Sandusky's adopted kids. They all kind of ran in some of the same circles.

So, knowing all that, it might not be too much of a stretch to theorize that as a kid, McQueary may have had a run in with Sandusky himself. That would go a long way towards explaining his conduct when he saw the shower rape.

Yeah, if he's a sociopath (which is almost a foregone conclusion by now) he will probably be some kind of narcissist. These people are generally unlikely to commit suicide. I would think more likely this monster would think in his own head he can continue to lie and manipulate his way out of this situation, even though that's not going to happen. Look for him to try to blame everyone else.

If this has rich donors involved, he could've told the police and was shut down.

I have to tell you as someone who has been abused as a child that if I walked in on that it would bhave given me even more reason to shut it down adn get that kid out of there immediately. Would it be horrifying? Yes. Would it be traumatic? yes. Would I stop it right there? absolutely.

My boss is a PSU alum. Her family are big donors and friends with Sandusky, Turley, etc. They have given tickets to Sandusky so he could take kids to games.

Needless to say, she is freaked the hell out. Missed work this week. I really hope her dad is in not involved in any of this.

This is why last night I was wondering if any of the trustees that voted to fire JoePa also had an inkling of what was going on. I just don't see how this could have stopped at the school president, the AD, and Paterno.

Sickest sports story of my lifetime, maybe of all time.

It's certainly not just a 'sports' story, but within that framework, of course.

The DA was featured on the Discovery ID program "Disappeared" not too long ago. They made the whole case seem like a strange probably suicide, but with the way things have broken open in this scandal it really makes you wonder. The allegations that the personality in Pittsburgh is throwing out there are pretty serious. They better have some merit before making these allegations.
