1. There was a visible layer of smoke inside the arena.
2. A Kings spokesman acknowledged that the smoke was a problem.
3. It was a problem to such a degree that the arena workers were given special instructions to keep the doors closed as much as possible.
4. OF COURSE athletic performance would be affected by the air quality in an enclosed space.
5. LeBron wasn't using the smoke as an excuse for anything, as his team won and he was the highest scoring player.
"Basketball players might be affected by the smoke if they compete in an area near a raging wildfire" is a common sense opinion. At this point, why not just admit to yourself that you'll be butthurt over literally anything LeBron says or does?
