And Carruth gets out of prison this year. Only served 18 years for hiring a hit man to kill his wife and unborn child. Let's not forget what a piece of human shite he is.

LINK

quote:

Chancellor Lee Adams is the son of ex Carolina Panthers star Rae Carruth and Cherica Adams.

He was born 10 weeks prematurely via an emergency C-section after his mother was gunned down in a drive-by shooting orchestrated by Carruth because he did not want to pay child support in November 1999.

Adams died a month after the shooting and Carruth has been in jail for her murder since 2000. Adams survived. The teenager suffers cerebral palsy and brain damage as a result of his traumatic, premature birth.

This is the real story though:

quote:

He has been raised by his maternal grandmother Saundra Adams. On November 16, Chancellor celebrated his milestone birthday with a party at a pumpkin patch in Charlotte, North Carolina.

One hell of a job by the grandmother to raise him

Actually I've read his release date is October. 22 2018.

Having a son with CP, I can tell you she is my hero for doing it all alone.

I was in high school when this went down. Dude was arrested in West TN a county away from me. At them time, I thought it was "cool" a national story like this was happening right where I lived.

Astonishingly, she has forgiven Carruth and his co-conspirators and plans to take Chancellor to meet him when he is released from prison next year.

The pair have met once before. In 2000, before he was convicted, Chancellor's grandmother took him to the jail where Carruth was being held to introduce him to his father.

She claims that once the former athlete realized the media was not allowed to film or photograph the meeting, he lost interest.

This guy is human excrement; grandmother needs to re-evaluate and should protect the kid from any contact with this evil.

If I were the panthers owner, I would make sure that woman and the son were set for life, just because I would feel so bad for having given a piece of shite like Carruth a job and money.

I remember watching the trial, he's a real piece of shite.

So is his attorney, Cherica may have been a gold digger but hearing how they try to make her sound like one and sound like a piece of shite was ridiculous considering she was murdered.
