LSU did the same thing when NIL was legalized. It’s how Livvy Dunne got famous

Dunne was famous as hell way before that

99% of people will walk by that and wonder who the frick Brendan Sorsby is, which makes this funny

my theory is that it will change only once the NFL product suffers... and with high pay days in college, it could lead to guys staying in college longer, meaning they are older when they enter the league, and having a shorter career in the NFL.. also longer injury histories, and the possibility that these star players are already hitting their peak in college so they are spent by the time the NFL comes around, thus watering down the NFL product...

then, the downward pressure from the NFL, a very powerful entity, may be enough to finally start getting something done

When any other team signs a high profile player - "Money whipped mercenary. Congrats on winning the auction."

When LSU signs a high profile player - "We comin. He always wanted to be a tiger! Its not my money anyway, who cares. Geaux Tigahs!"

*Note this is obviously not limited to LSU, just fitting for this example with Sorsby.

Damn…Tech is joining the SEC and Big 10 programs in paying players. Such peak retardation. Doing things programs in those other conferences have done for decades.

The team you’re bitching about got their doors blown off in their first playoff game

Essentially Texas Tech Football is owned by Cody Campbell now.

You're right.

78-37-5 seems like a good place to be.

Or 27-17.

And yes. Tech will always be behind us and you. Hell depending on the year, TCU/SMU might take them. As I predicted they were exposed for being B12 paper champs. Hell as bad as you guys sucked at least you scored 3 pts.
