Good point. But why not either tell them they are staying or just fire them now? The quality of their work on this draft class will not be evaluated for years so might as well shite or get off the pot if you're Grud-ock.

you cant have you scouts getting drunk running off at the mouth who you are targeting in the draft so he is making sure to remove that possible issue from hurting their draft
all the damn scouting work and reports are completed so the scouts are just at the draft on draft day to get drunk andf chase whores

I think people are reading way too into this, but I can’t help but feel like hiring Gruden is going to blow up in the Raiders face
