Penn State schedule:
Marshall
Temple
Buffalo
Wisconsin
Northwestern
USC
Michigan
Purdue
Washington
Minnesota
Rutgers
Maryland
Only teams with a pulse are USC and Washington. Michigan is arse
At least ND plays Miami
Not defending the garbage Notre Dame schedule but a B1G schedule can be similar garbage

BYU as well which also might be better than anybody on PSU schedule

Big Ten is weak, that doesn’t make ND schedule any better

Who is the worst team in the SEC?
Miss State?
They are slight favorites AT Minnesota this weekend

Now do Vanderbilt last season, an overrated Alabama who got humiliated by Indiana was their big game. Vandy was considered a fringe playoff contender and got bullied by 8-4 Iowa, trailing by 2-3 scores most of the game.
Every super league is going to have outliers.
And I wouldn’t say we’ve seen enough of Michigan to say they’re arse
In 2009, Iowa had to block 2 FGs back to back to beat FCS Northern Iowa. They would ascend into the top 5 that season, played an overtime defacto CCG at Ohio State, and won the Orange Bowl. Like 9 guys on that Defense played in the NFL and they should have lost to Northern Iowa.

They lost to WMU

They should have lost. But they didn’t. And the committee isnt going to treat it as a loss.

Ohio State’s is very difficult.
Penn State’s is a cakewalk.
Variance in sos is the largest issue w these oversized conferences, imo

Ohio St's is fairly solid
Indiana's is a little less so
Don't know if you guys have noticed or not but it seems someone / some force is pushing Penn State really hard. It's a little weird.

Fairly solid? Lol. You SEC boys crack me up.
Road games @ Texas, Iowa, Indiana, USC with Oregon at home
I doubt there’s a tougher schedule in the country.

They needed ref help and a Hail Mary to beat WMU. They are arse for sure.

It’s one opening game. Lot of teams look terrible in week 1. I just gave you an example and everyone said the same thing about Iowa that year and they won a major bowl and finished in the top 10.
Michigan might suck, they might be mid, they might get it together. They have loads of talent.

It's a good schedule to be sure. I acknowledge it as such.

I tend to agree it's difficult to tell off the bat these days.
Was it last year everyone said Clemson was good and LSU was great? LSU did look good this year but I want to see more of Michigan before saying they're terrible.

Currently also have top 20 BYU and SMU on the schedule. 3 top 20 opponents, including some that'll likely be top 10 when the game is played, is better than pretty much any non-SEC team will play.
Wisconsin will likely sneak into the top 25 by the end of the year as well.
