Even a bit of a snoozer tonight was more entertaining than all but a couple of CFB games this past weekend.

So glad it’s back.

I'm starting to wonder if it's rigged based on that incomprehensible decision by Maye at the end of the game. Vegas might be the real winner tonight. Who the hell knows

Shame about Darnold though. We all want to see good QB play.

I don't know man, they were both below average. Football just doesn't seem as fun to watch over the last 4+ years. I still watch but my excitement level seems to diminish every year in both.

Best thing about it, it seemed to move along faster than most games until the last few minutes.

Please explain why bc i disagree. Nfl product is way better. Its the best of the best and any team can win any game. Thats why the lines are usually around 3.5 to 7.5 unlike college where double digits is the norm.

Any time I start thinking this, I tune into a game and get reminded how dull the NFL is.

It’s seems, idk, too cultivated. QB play should be so much better than it is. Games all seem to play out the same way. Comeback drives seem cheap as hell. The rules are so gay.

I guess you can argue closer scores means better football, but quite often I’ll catch some NFL games and come away feeling absolutely nothing. Way too often.

Im with Tide on this one. The college games were a lot more exciting than the 13-10 super bowl rematch. Hell i had more fun watching Charlotte vs The Citadel double OT game this past weekend.

As someome else said, fans and bands much better in college.

Then you also just have to accept that college is always gonna have a close game on somewhere with 20+ games kicking off in each window (11, 2:30, 6) and then there are more games kicking off between each window.

Yeah if u pick a game at random the nfl game will probably be closer than picking a random game out of all the college football games, but you get to choose which college games you watch on Saturdays.

Maye just sucks. Stat padded vs their cup cake schedule last year and folded when they had to play good teams in the playoffs. He’s going to continue to get exposed more this year

Agreed but not overly crazy about either.

CFB basically unwatchable to me if I don’t have a rooting interest. I can watch any nfl game for fantasy purposes.
