Every Dakota school and every Montana school is currently ranked in the top 10 of FCS.
1. SD State
2. ND State
3. Montana St
5. South Dakota
8. Montana
9..North Dakota
We should just make our own conference. It would be a top G7 conference within 3 years. We already beat G5 teams when we play them, and even P5 sometimes.

Toledo and NIU are better off in the MACtion than MWC. PAC-12, they should give it a look.

The MWC was formed years ago out of the WAC, when 8 schools left to form the new conference. Now, the PAC-whatever is doing the same thing.

For a geographical standpoint UTEP makes a lot of sense but It’s also being reported that Texas State has a verbal offer to the MW and for the love of God I hope they don’t call them back. I would rather just stay in the Sun Belt than go to that watered down MW. It’s either the PAC 12, AAC or stay in the Sun Belt

Sac State is now make a big financial push to get into the Pac-12. They've raised $35M in NIL money in 24 hours. Sounds like lots of big money in the community and alums putting in a huge push.

Conference realignment has nothing to do with quality of football programs and everything to do with location and market. We've seen that before, ahem...Rutgers to the Big Ten. It's an absolute joke because these 6 schools would beat most G5 schools. In fact, they have in years past.
MWC could solidify their conference with one conference call to these 6 schools. Instead, they are wasting their time calling MAC schools to be football only affiliates. MAC schools that would lose to the Dakota 4 on the field right now.

The best thing all along would have been for OSU and WSU to split that massive Pac 12 bank account, invest in their programs for the long term, and go domiate the MWC.
I'd rather see the Pac 12 just die than become a third tier crap conference.
