because they all did

Okay, that doesn't mean that it benefitted them all the same.

If the NBA implemented a rule that said that you could only dribble the basketball with your left hand, wouldn't that benefit teams with stars who are left handed more than teams that only had right handed stars? Just because all of the teams are playing under the same rules, doesn't mean that those rules were equally beneficial to every team.

Will argue to this day that the year after was definitely the sham if there were one. A lot of big names were injured and the Bucks of that year would have gotten absolutely embarrassed by the 2020 Lakers. Eat shite.

LeBron
AD
Kyrie
Harden
Kawhi
Murray
Jaylen Brown
Mike Conley
Trae Young
CP3

ETA: They were 49-14 before the season shut down and had 5 - 7 game+ win streaks. They would've won anyway.

I assume you also consider Tom Bradys championship with the Bucs and Bamas championship with Mac Jones as fake and unwarranted that season as well?

And now he's paying taxes on income. Let THAT sink in

I assume you meant state income tax. It is true he will likely being paying more state income tax but he was already paying a shite load of state income tax.

Texas is zero

He was paying ZERO state income. The trick in Texas is to lease a super condo, don't pay property tax, and zero state income.
In LA, he will be paying an additional 18% state income!

You are very sure of yourself. It is funny to trick someone into following you out into the deep water and then reminding them they can't swim.

I assume most people here already know the state income tax issues regarding pro athletes so I won't waste my time explaining to one person that does not understand the basics of state tax but you might try Googling the phrase: "where do pro athletes pay state income tax" and see if you still feel like you knew what you were talking about.

LOL.....cya

I know the answer. fricking point is he is paying California state income taxes for that eligible money, at a rate compared to 0%in Texas for that same eligible amount.
Again, there's a reason I said I'll let you do the math on 300M

Have fun proving nothing except what was quoted.

I wasn't covering my arse I knew exactly how the jock tax works and I played you because I wanted to see if you would go down with the ship.

No, you didn't or you would have never said this in your first response to me:

quote:

He was paying ZERO state income.

That is categorically wrong. You thought he paid no state income tax and that is what you said, I pointed out that was incorrect and suckered you into doubling down with a big ole capitalized ZERO. Take the L and move along.

Someone on reddit did the math, a player in cali will pay between 6%-7% more in taxes than a player in texas over the course of a season.
