While the NFL and NBA crash and burn

Who would have thought that a league which was dead in the water less than a month ago could potentially become America’s number 1 sport again?

Looks to be all good. Please, don't ruin this MLB with some stupid crap with the National anthem on Opening Day. Piss on the NBA and NFL SJW bullshite.

I’m shocked that it seems like it’s actually going to happen.

Fortunately for the league this summer is one year where it’s massive under representation on social media is a HUGE advantage. No players stepped in it significantly one way or the other

It’s a 60 game season and they’re the favorite to win their division
I’d watch em all

I'm not a baseball guy at all, but I enjoyed that Yanks/Mets game yesterday, too. I think the freakshow of the empty stadium and cardboard cutouts was part of it. I like how the one Yankee guy insists on wearing the mask.

They have it the easiest. Nobody had to be in much contact with each other to play baseball.

MLB is just going to hold down the fort for me until NBA starts. Doubt I watch any games after the 30th.

I’ll be all over the baseball. No fans isn’t to big a deal in baseball. Of course the playoff atmosphere won’t be the same it’s possible they may be at the point of having fans by that time..

I worry the NBA will lose a lot of excitement with no fans.. the game is more intimate and the fans have always been a visual part of the game. Hope I’m wrong

For me no fan NBA games will be must see tv. No fans to block out all the typical things that are said during a basketball game? Yea sign me up, it's going to be chaos.

Silver mentioned something about possibly tape delaying but nothing has been confirmed yet as far as i know. He'll probably be forced to after the first week.

I just can’t imagine them letting out what’s truly said on the court. It would be an added addictive addition but the constant beeps would probably get annoying. The one and only time I sat near court side, I was taken by surprise how much shite they talk. It was pretty funny but tv censors would have a heart attack

MLB dropped the ball on this so incredibly hard due to overall incompetence stemming from the league office and ownership and the odds of this season getting shut down mid year are higher than that of it being completed. But yea, they've been the gold standard
