I think people are selling that 2010 team short as far as the talent on it.
The Heat spent the whole year trying to figure out. They used a traditional PG and a traditional center to complement the Big 3 and they were not productive at all at those positions when it came to scoring, rebounding or ditributing. LeBron basically played point forward and wouldn't let Chalmers handle the ball or shoot. They hit their stride 2 years later when they basically became positionless on offense and Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Rashard Lewis, James Jones, Miller and Chalmers were taking most of the 3's.

That team started 17-17 and still made the finals.
Also chris bosh doesn’t hold a candle to any of the big 3 of Lebron (even at 35), AD and Kawhi

Don’t you think that Lebron”Stats over titles”, would contribute to Wade’s stats declining?
Posted on 7/1/19 at 1:27 pm to Stidham8
Theres no team like the Bulls in the NBA next year.

AD and Kawhi are light years better than what Bosh and Wade were when Bron went to Miami

Are you retarded? You don't think playing with Lebron dropped his PER because, I don't know...usage changing and sharing the ball, changing the offense.
Now do the same for Lebron. Lebron's career high for PER for a 3 year span was his last 3 years in CLE before going to MIA.
Was that his prime too?

quote:Not only that, but I think their styles would compliment each other far better than the other 2 big 3s Lebron has been apart of. In particularly, I think Kawhi compliments Lebron (and vice versa) far better than Wade and Kyrie since Kawhi doesn’t require near as many touches (e.g., Kyrie averages 23 more touches per 36 minutes).
AD and Kawhi are light years better than what Bosh and Wade were when Bron went to Miami

ETA: Nice edit - for those that missed it, this tard quoted Lebron's PER from his last years in Cleveland from the year before last, confirming he doesn't read.

Lol are you serious? Wade was 28-29 years old and still in his prime for that first season.
Bosh was coming off a year where he averaged 24/11 and was one of the best bigs in the game.
Everyone expected them to win ~ 65-70 games and win the finals with ease.

Lebron last 3 years in original cleveland
31.1 PER and .286 ws/48
LeBron is miami
30.0 PER and .282 ws/48
That is called a continuous prime
Wades numbers considerably dip from the 5 years before LeBron

Yeah it's called running the offense through Lebron exactly like he did in CLE.
Did Wade suddenly return to his prime in the finals that year when Lebron had a 17.1 PER and Wade had a 32.5 PER?
Or maybe they just ran the offense through Wade once they saw Lebron folding.

quote:Let’s use better metrics that are available for the time frame that can isolate both the offensive and defensive impact (PIPM and BOM) and regress those starting with the 2 years pre-lebron and 2 year post Lebron.
Are you retarded? You don't think playing with Lebron dropped his PER because, I don't know...usage changing and sharing the ball, changing the offense.
BPM, PIPM, and BPM/PIPM Combined Average Pre-Lebron
2008-2009—+9.70, +6.50, +8.10
2009-2010—+8.00, +6.20, +7.10
BPM, PIPM, and BPM/PIPM Combined Average with Lebron
2010-2011—+5.70, +4.50, +5.10
2011-2012—+3.40, +3.20, +3.80
2012-2013—+3.50, +3.00, +3.25
2013-2014—+1.90, -0.60, +0.65
BPM, PIPM, and BPM/PIPM Combined Average Post-Lebron
2014-2015–+1.60, -0.20, +0.70
2015-2015–+1.60, -0.30, +0.65
Regression coefficients over the course of 8 years
BPM -1.19 (R-Squared = 0.90)
PIPM -1.14 (R-Squared = 0.91)
Combined Average -1.17 (R-Squared = 0.94)
So as you can see Wade got consistently worse by about 1.1 to 1.2 point per 100 possessions each year before, during, and after his time with Lebron.
And the results were consistent across two separate measures and the overall fit was excellent (R-Squared > 0.90).

Wade was still pretty decent the first year or two LeBron was in Miami. Obviously not as good, but he definitely fell off pretty drastically after that, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
