The Miami Heat had prime Wade, Bosh, and LeBron
Posted by Stidham8 on 7/1/19 at 11:24 am514
And didn’t get the #1 seed their first year playing together, along with not winning a title.
Someone help explain how 35 year old LeBron that doesn’t play defense is going to have it so much easier this time?

That team literally had no supporting cast outside of the Big 3. The fourth and fifth leading scorers on the 2011 Heat averaged 8.0 PPG and 7.3 PPG and played a combined total of 35 games the entire season. Kyle Kuzma is a significantly better offensive player than any of the players the Heat had outside of the Big 3.

Prime Wade was '08-'09. He was already in decline by '10-'11
People forget how great Wade was in '08.

Sorry but Bosh is not AD and Wade is not Kawhi. Lebron is not the same lebron either but he’s still pretty close.
This would be the most absurd big 3 of all time if it goes down.

I don't know why everyone's freaking out so much if the Lakers will underperform. Seems to me like the league has them right where they want them and you'll get to see egg on Lebron's face once again. What's the problem?

I can't remember anyone else on that team other than they had a bunch of bigs- Eric Dampier, Juan Howard, Haslem, Jamaal Magloire

LeBron’s close to what he was in his mid 20’s? Back then he was dragging horrible Cleveland squads to the #1 seed in the east.
He couldn’t get the lakers to the playoffs when he came back from the injury.

I think people are selling that 2010 team short as far as the talent on it.
They weren't world beaters but guys like Haslem, Chalmers, Mike Miller, etc were solid guys.
Kuzma is overrated as shite. He's not better than Haslem, and they literally have no guards on this team right now.
Also, I'd take Spoelstra over freaking Vogel that hasn't won shite as a coach. No one was willing to hire Vogel

It’s not going to be so much easier this time. It should be better than last year having another top 5-10 player on his team.
They might struggle a little bit at the beginning, but the league is so open right now it is absolutely worth the risk of trading the majority of your assets to try and win a title in the next two years.

Is Wade’s prime only one year? Wade was the best player on the Heat, when they lost to the Mavs in the finals.

That was definitely prime Wade. LeBron sympathizers fo all they can to make LeBron better than he was.

and 2 seasons ago he was dropping 40 point triple doubles consistently, 50 point performances in the finals with one of the worst teams to ever make a finals in NBA history.
