The MAN who won the women's swimming event..testosterone discussion

My knowledge of all the testing that goes on for steroids, greatly relies on elevated testosterone levels, compared to readings of normal acceptable levels. And if they are abnormally high, they are considered to be doping.
Seems I remember also, if they are too low, it proves masking is taking place, and is illegal also.
How is this guy's levels not considered too high, in regards to the average woman competitor?
Does he dope in a way to reduce them?
If he can be a champion with his higher levels, wouldn't the others be fine to take substances to elevate their own levels to his?
Has anyone heard how his team gets around this issue or how the governing body has addressed?
I found this
And W T F!..
They DOUBLED his acceptable levels!!
And
Article I found.

I found this

the range 7.7 to 29.4 nmol/L and 0 to 1.7 nmol/L in healthy women, so for fairness and considering the over-representation of women with naturally higher levels in sport, the IAAF recently formulated new regulations and defined a maximum testosterone level of 5.0 nmol/L for eligibility in the female classification of ...
And W T F!..
quote:
the time since the Thomas debate arose, there have been rules changes to the requirements for transgender participation by the NCAA and USA Swimming. The NCAA initially stated it would abide by USA Swimming guidelines on the topic, but upon hearing that the national governing body had instituted a testosterone threshold of 5 nmols/L, the NCAA retreated on its decision. Subsequently, the NCAA – for this winter – indicated that Thomas be eligible for next month’s NCAA Championships in Atlanta if Thomas can produce a testosterone threshold of 10 nmols/L.
They DOUBLED his acceptable levels!!
And

By transitioning to female after undergoing male puberty, Thomas owned several characteristics that provided an advantage over biological females. In addition to possessing higher testosterone levels, Thomas’ experience with male puberty also offered enhanced lung capacity, larger hands and feet and greater strength.

Don't try to make sense of something that doesn't make sense. It should not be allowed.
The guy gets treated like a girl because he changed his name to lia & that's about as far as it goes.

I don't know but he already went through male puberty and was a grown arse man when he transitioned. My understanding is that hormones and testosterone blockers do very little at that point

Im not, that's why I'm going into discussions about the written rules in reference to testosterone.

Typically they’re looking for synthetic testosterone

This was bound to happen… it is a such thing as out of control equality to the point it doesn’t make sense… everyone knows it’s ridiculous but hell society is basically backed into a corner

Yep. It's the world progressive liberalism has led us to, so all things like this are acceptable.

All they have to do is follow the written rules.

There is no logical, sensible explanation for any of this. This guy is competing as a girl, even though he clearly isn't, because no one wants to be cancelled.
I argue that maybe some of this stuff should be cancelled until all of the bullshite is stopped and we come to a reasonable compromise for all this: that being that trans atheletes are more than welcome to compete in their own, separate category, or competition.
But then that wouldn't be allowing them to live their truth, so it won't happen. There isn't enough outrage yet.

IMO, they should build a WNBA team of nothing but transgenders and pay them NBA salaries.

I just cannot believe that women's rights groups would let their programs be infiltrated.
NO woman will do the opposite in sports. And if they try, they'll be dead last in that physical sport.

There are several non D1 kickers in high-school in Baton Rouge that are much better than her.
He'll, I wpuld.imagine there are several on Vandy better

Her kicks are garbage. She had no business walking on to that team, let alone actually getting playing time.

Although a pos post, the topic really isn't about just him. It's the threshold of testosterone for women that was in place and had yo be DOUBLED to let him in.
How can a governing body realistically suspend ANY athletes if they bend rules for others?
