Brady is great, but a 2nd SB loss puts him squarely behind Joe Montana on the GOAT list.

If he was ever in front of Montana on any list, they were sorely mistaken.

The Manning/Brady debate has always been interesting, but neither of them are better than Joe, and frankly, had he won, he still wouldn't be better than Joe.

Clever. Spygate references more than 5 years after the fact. I bet it took you a good portion of those years to think up that witty retort.

I'd put him on the 2nd tier of all-time greats. Not only did both Bradshaw and Montana win 4 SBs, neither of them lost a SB, either.

I'll keep that in mind. I mean, its not like he only finished his career with 2 more interceptions than touchdowns, or that he was the QB with quite possibly the greatest defenses ever put together.

Simply a fact. Sorry you don't like it. He hasn't won since they were caught cheating. One conclusion .... Which is yours apparently .... That it's irrelevant.

Another is that the first three wins might not have happened without cheating. All three wins by 3 points. Cheating might have been the difference.

What if he was 2-3 or 1-4 or 0-5

Patriot fans don't like it but when your coach is a complete childish dickhead by a crook of fate has managed to win zero super bowls since spygate, you're gonna get that shite. If he weren't such a flaming childish prick, it would probably be forgotten by now but shite, the dude threw a year long temper tantrum after spygate. You do that shite and people are going to rub your nose in it when they get the opportunity.

I'll go ya one further. I think he's won his last super bowl. Do I think that's cause of spygate? Nah. But I think it serves his arse right that it'll be harped on because he's such a dick. It's sad really cause the man IS a great coach. Why he insists on also having the attitude of a 5 year old is beyond me.

The pats need to get him a dominant receiver. Welker and Branch are not #1 type receivers. It hurt them last year against the jets and again tonight. They simply have no downfield threat.

True on both counts, but he was great big-game QB. The Steel Curtain didn't play particularly well in a couple of those SBs, particularly XIII against the Cowboys.

Is there any evidence of Spygate dating back to earlier superbowls? I still remember Kurt Warner being very very pissed when everything came out.

The spygate argument is beyond stupid, simply because they have been to 2 Super Bowls since with one of those seasons being 2 minutes away from becoming the best ever.

I think the real stat here is that Brady hasn't won shite since he got hitched with Gisele. There is your problem Patriot fans.

I mean...I don't like the guy either, but he got to another superbowl.

I'm not going to say that him cheating didn't make any difference, but I doubt he would be in the SB tonight if his actions made that big of an impact throughout the season and post season.

Isn't it better to get to the SB and lose than to not make it at all? Isn't 4-2 > 4-0? Cause you know, you made it all the way there instead of getting beat out earlier in the playoffs or not making it all together. It's like all the dumbasses who us BCS losses against Tressell and Stoops. Like it's somehow better to win the Cotton Bowl than lose the BCSCG.

Until Brady gets his 4th, I'd have him behind Montanna probably, but Terry Bradshaw could not sniff Tom Brady's jock.

I have to agree on the 3-2. I mean how many QBs have played in that many SBs? There is something to be said about reaching the SB 5 times in 11 years.

Who is 4-2 and who is 4-0? Montana vs Bradshaw?
