The Japanese Fade affecting Yu?

Or is it the result of too many high pitch count games?
Since the 130-pitch game against Detroit on May 16 he has yet to win a game. His two losses are both to Oakland (though they've given him trouble since he came to MLB). He has not gotten past the 8th inning in any game and tonight had his second-shortest outing of the year (5.1 innings). He has only one game since Detroit where he's struck out 10 batters--and that was the second loss to Oakland.
Worse is his tendency to give up the long ball. His rookie year he had only ONE game in which he gave up two home runs; he's had five this season including his last two. Tonight he gave up three home runs in one game; last year he didn't give up three home runs in a MONTH.
The Rangers have $111.7 million paid or committed to Yu through 2017 (unless Yu voids the last year of his deal). Did they sign the next Dice-K--or create him by overuse?

No, he is a great pitcher. Not every organization makes shitty free agent signings like your Angels.

Dude has a 2.33 ERA in June over 27 innings with 32k
You really need a new favorite team, like the Marlins

Really? I could have sworn he was an Angels fan

2013 stats= 2.84 ERA in the AL, 12.2 Ks per 9 innings, WHIP under 1, under 3 walks per 9 innings and only 6 hits given up per 9 innings. I would be REALLY worried if I was the Rangers.

The OP knows nothing about baseball except what he sees on Sportscenter. He saw Yu gave up a few homers and comes on here and starts a thread like an idiot.

They should sell..... And by that I mean sell the farm and acquire Stanton. Beltre/AJ/Kinsler/Cruz are all on wrong side of 30 and Stanton/Elvis/Moreland are 3 good ones to build around (since it would take Profar to acquire Stanton)
