I don’t care about her media crap.. IMO it’s ALL what you do ON the court that should matter for a tennis player…. Results are results… for all the hard work she went through to even get to this point is very hard and grueling.. she should be strong enough to handle some questions…. Just look at a pro golfer. It’s amazing how focused and determined you have to be just to get a tour card…. But then again once you get that card you have to still be strong enough to handle what comes along with fame.

The only reason I give a shite about the Tennis Open is that it coincides with the start of football season.

Osaka is basically a Serena redux. Tons of talent but is s9 self-absorbed and cannot handle any criticism. Wouldn’t be shocked if she’s been roiding up like Serena too.

I saw the press conference, also. Yes, she does need to take a break...forever. If she's so distraught over being a world class player, she needs to get out. My feeling is that she probably gets just as distraught if her dry cleaning is late or if she gets stuck in traffic. She's a nut job who has taken to crying to gain sympathy and headlines.

From what I have read she is not liked by the other women on tour.
She should probably just retire as she clearly doesn't want to be there and can't handle it anymore.
In other news, I'm hyped for Big Foe on the men's side and glad that cheater Tsistpas got bounced after he fricked over Andy Murray.
