What is their future? Most concerning to me is what happens to still one of the nba’s biggest stars Steph curry. He probably rides it out with the warriors but with a missed playoff appearance (shocking to me) how do they remake this squad other than kicking clay and draymond to the curb (which they probably won’t do). I don’t want to see curry play out his years on a loser.

Curry will be 40 in a couple of years. He retires a Warrior IMO.

I hope he does. This team turned heel the moment the league allowed a prime KD to join it for easy championships

Kobe rode it out even though the Lakers sucked towards the end. Steph should be a Warrior for life. He doesn't need to ring chase, he already has his legacy.

Kuminga will be a star eventually imo. He's the most athletic guy on the court whenever he's in, which is usually saying a lot in the NBA. Curry is still the best pure shooter in the league. Trayce Jackson Davis will develop into what they were lacking in a true center and had a great rookie year, along with Podziemski.

Klay might be done. He was a lot better coming off the bench, and was hot to end the season, but he was something like 0-10 vs the Kings in the play-in. Wiggins may be on the way out. Draymond can still do his thing and had a good year, especially from 3.

Get a good center to help with rim protection and another shooter to take the pressure off Curry, and the Warriors will still be a threat.

Probably replace players each year, continue to oversell tickets, play basketball as usual win or lose, and make money hand over fist. It’s basketball business as usual but I’m not a part of it so none of my concern or worry.

They’re middle of the pack now and will continue to fall as Curry and Green get older.

They will have a total rebuild probably within 2-3 years.

Im sure they got a plan maybe free agency or a trade or two. Do not see Klay being back hell they might get rid of Draymond

Curry didn't make the playoffs. LeBron is likely about to get swept. KD is about to get swept.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some trades that try and put 2 of these 3 guys together in a last chance effort at a championship while these guys can still play.

Draymond isn't going anywhere, but Klay might hang it up. Wiggins probably should go, since he misses so much time every year with personal issues. Will be interesting to see if they can find a rim protector in free agency since the defense suffered so much from it this season.

No. The Warriors are done. Time for a re-build.

I'm sure the rest of the league would love that, but they won a title two years ago, and lost 36 games by 5 points or less this season. A ridiculous amount of them were 1 or 2 pt losses, which was crazy to watch.

But keep hoping I guess.

I agree Dirk stuck with Dallas after they got one championship. That season ended their 11 year (2000-2001 thru 2010-2011) streak of winning at least 50 games. They had a couple more decent seasons when they signed Parsons, but they had some pretty bad years too. Dirk played three or four more years than he should have, but who can blame him for that.

If Steph wants to keep working for the team after he retires, I'm sure they could find a place for him. I thought Dirk would go back to Germany after his playing career, but getting married changed all of that.
