Tua is blessed with Hill and Waddle. Take them away the Dolphins are a joke.

especially with some dork head coach who wants to appease his team instead of laying down the law.

Tua has done some good things. He has to do some of that good stuff against the better teams/defenses in the league and he can't. He's one concussion away from being done. He overlooks wide open recievers to throw to double covered Waddle & Hill. He looks like a turtle in super glue tryin to escape the pocket when he has to.
Let him play out his 5th,then hit the market, HE'S JUST NOT WORTH THAT MUCH!

Paying one person 25% or so of your total cap doesn’t usually work out for long term success. Unless you have a Mahomes type player back there.

The market is fricking dumb.

Maybe he'll end up in Atlanta and they'll have their own "Hawk Tua."

Tua’s not undisputedly better than any of them

Then how is Burrow at the same number with more games missed than Tua?

You can really see that this aggravates you. Talk about it. Let it all out. God never closes a door without opening a new one. Plenty of fish in the sea.

Well then he can just not sign and he'll eventually find out if anyone else wants to pay him 55 Mil.

This is the market.

U pay or move on

When mediocre qb's are getting 40mil per, u better expect to pay 50+. For a decent to good one

It’s hard to rank any QB outside of Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers (maybe), and Burrow.

Outside of that it’s literally up in the air depending on scheme etc.

Those 4 QBs could probably succeed (win a championship) at any franchise.

Tua is in that next category of great QBs with Lamar, Dak, Hurts, Lawrence, Purdy, etc.

4-10 is almost impossible to rank imo. The problem is multiple guys in the 4-10 range are over 50 mil.

I only mentioned Burrow because people said Tua didn’t deserve 50+ due to injury but Burrow has been injured just as much.

The real argument is Hurts and Lawrence being at 50+ mil. Goff is probably a great QB too.

For me there are some clear tiers:

1. Mahomes. He’s by himself at the top.

2. Josh Allen is second and he’s clearly 2.

3. Lamar. He’s closer to 4 than he is to 2, but he’s by himself at 3 pretty handedly

4 on down is where it gets tricky. I don’t think there is huge separation with these guys (not listed in the order I’d rank them):

Tua
Herbert
Goff
Cousins
Dak
Burrow
Hurts

I think some are better than others, but it’s not a sizable gap.

After them you get into that. Stafford/Purdy/Baker/Lawrence area where they are clearly good starters, I just don’t see MVP-level potential in them.

I need to see more from Love and Stroud before I personally put them in any category above.

And yes I left off Rodgers because we haven’t really seen him in 18 months. I could see him anywhere from 4 down to the Stafford/Purdy tier.

I think Tua is very accurate QB but when Hill and Waddle were both dinged you saw the production go down.

The Dolphins D had Fangio as the DC but now he's with the Eagles. The Eagles players like his style but the Dolphins players weren't as receptive to his style and demanding ways.

I still think it's the Bills division to lose in the AFC East. They went toe-to-toe with the Chiefs, but I think feel jinxed or something against them. I mean WTF?

That’s fair. But I think the difference is when healthy Burrow has proven his mettle with an AFC Championship and Super Bowl appearance in the two years he wasn’t lost for the season.

Both are injury gambles. But if I have to gamble, I’m taking the one that’s been more of a “sure thing” when healthy
