It was just a matter of time. Tied for last in Sun Belt West and on a seven-game losing streak (all conference games). Ashamed that LSU is subsidizing his pay, but thrilled that's he gone.

I'm no T20, 14 or Bad Cat, but to compare Brady to Curley is ridiculous. Brady for all his faults had some success. Hallman did nothing but go backwards and bang college chicks in his office while here.

Shula's career achievement at a big time football school was winning the Cotton Bowl. Brady's went to the Final Four at an average basketball school. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been canned, but he did something at LSU that hadn't been done in 20 years.

Brady will get them to the Sweet 16 within the next 2 or 3 years, followed by everyone saying he's a good coach, and then go back to being a horrible coach. The Final Four in 2006 was in spite of Brady. It was because of Big Baby, Tyrus Thomas, Darrell Mitchell, Garrett Temple, and Tasmin Mitchell. If we had a good coach, and if Davis hadn't been 300 pounds when they got to Indianapolis, we could have had a national title
