Exactly. This is like the Vikings leaving Bloomington and moving into the metro dome.

It will be a huge moneymaker. Super Bowls, etc..
They’ll probably get one Super Bowl because the NFL seems to always reward brand new stadiums with one. Wouldn’t count on many major events beyond that.

After all, its Cleveland. Not exactly an exciting destination city for traveling fans. And worse, the stadium is a 20 minute drive from downtown.

New Orleans keeps getting Super Bowls and Final Fours despite having a 50 year old dome is because its a tourist city AND the games, hotels, and other festivities are all within walking distance of each other. The only time visiting fans really have to get in a vehicle is the ride to and from the airport.

NO also has a temperate climate in January and February, certainly compared to Cleveland.

Why would Denver get a dome? There’s no interest in one. Average high of 45 in both December and January. Cleveland is colder

I foresee horrible shadow lines and glares on the field to rival Indy and Jerruh.

I feel like at some point, all 32 NFL teams will have a dome, and that would really suck.

For who?

People are paying too much to attend these games to risk bad weather

If you've never seen this, you should. One poor fan's anguish at his shitty team.
