Judge can hit 65 home runs and it means nothing unless they win it al. Stats are fun. Winning is the goal.

Judge is only one of nine. If this were basketball, the Yankees would be better than the Thunder. At this point, it doesn't matter what Judge does, if the rest of the team is garbage. It's like Judge is consistently GOAT-level, Goldschmidt is good, and everyone else is inconsistent to bad. If Judge is the only one playing well, you can just IBB him like a pansy. So in some ways, you can nerf the GOAT by just issuing walks.

All he cares about is stats. The yanks could finish the season at.500 and he would not care as long as Judge has great stats.

Remember when he hit 62 HRs in the regular season, but then went .063/.118/.063 and they were swept in the ALCS? I remember.

Leaders make their teammates better. This disappoints me to hear that after all your building him up as the savior to lead them to a championship, he's not raising the play of the team around him.

Honey, they’re not on the field at the same time unlike in basketball, football, soccer, etc. It’s more like, one guy shoots a 65, another shoots a 70, and the rest of his team shoots a 79. You noticed that SoSo, LeMahieu, Voit, Sanchez, Urshela, etc had decent years with Judge as the leader. Where are they? Judge MADE these guys. Judge would probably have a sub-3.0 ERA.
