This...plus it gives fans opportunities to check out new places.

Games like UGA/ND, FL/Utah, OSU/ND are good for the sport in general

Exactly. Georgia opened with UT Martin and Wisconsin opened with Buffalo. That is garbage. It would be much better for everyone involved if Georgia and Wisconsin scheduled a home and home while UTM opened at Buffalo.

Auburn whipped last place Umass (131)
How was UMASS #131 when they were 1-0 entering the game against Auburn?

No you don't. Teams need to stop being scared to schedule home and homes out of conference. The atmosphere was electric for both of the Georgia/ND games, for example.

I really wish the committee would harshly punish shite OOC scheduling.

They can't and won't. They're never going to punish bad out of conference scheduling, because the sport still needs revenue churn for most of its members. Schools need guaranteed games to make budgets, both on the low end, and to provide the revenue to try to compete on the high end.

The only substitutes for that are going to be revenue driven-- neutral site games where the cost of losing a home game can at least be made up to the higher end programs.

To expect anything else, is foolishness.

UTM and Buffalo lose much needed revenue; Georgia and Wisconsin gain nothing except risk to their playoff prospects.

Every single team in that equation loses, and loses significantly, except maybe the winner of Georgia-Wisconsin.

Georgia gained nothing from playing UT Martin. Nothing. The only entity who benefits from that shite is the UTM athletic department. Kirby Smart didn't learn anything about his team yesterday.

It should not be the job of Georgia and Wisconsin to fund UTM and Buffalo's athletic departments.

We should definitely do away with the neutral site bullshite

Why?

It gives good OOC matchups we wouldn't ordinarily see.Would you rather see at home rent a wins?

Should has nothing to do with it. Its the model they are a part of, for good or ill.

Sure but conference politics along with
logistics can be an issue at times when scheduling P5 OOC home and home.

Look what happened with us vs OSU and Oklahoma.
