Fredi wouldn't know what to do with Markakis. No way he could bat him in the 2 hole if Freeman batted third. I guess he would have to bat 1 or 5

He is a bad baserunner and fielder as well. Will be a 35 y/o at the end of this deal.
Not much to like here. His ability to get on base is good though.

going from heyward to markakis in right is going to be a pretty big drop
but if we get 40 doubles, 12 HR's and OBP of .350+ I'm happy

There has been a lot of buzz about Upton to Seattle. You'd think Walker would have to come in return. Who knows though. This has been a very weird offseason.
