Yeah Beau Jones is who I thought was the other. (Non factor)

I think it's like people are saying. They didn't forsee re-signing Prado.

So you choose 3 years + of JUp or 1 year of Prado.. I really do not mind losing Randall for it.

And screw Chris Johnson. Francisco Pain Train!

#Braves were willing to trade Prado after determining his asking price for multi-year ext. was $11M-$12M annually, higher than they would go

We are getting an All-Star and losing an All-Star. Only difference is we get to keep JUP for three years instead of Prado for one. And JUP's ceiling is much higher being only 25 and Prado 29

I really thought Salty was gonna be the next big star in MLB. Guess that's why I'm not a front office guy!

Salty was a decent last year. As far as catchers went. He was hurt a little, but he was mashing some bombs. At least I think he was.

Edit: I see his avg sucked, but he mashed 25

bombs. I remember he dealt with some injuries.

Before this trade the Braves were looking at adding another $16mm in salary.

The net of this trade is only around $7 million added. Braves still have another $9mm to do something if they want.

DOB on twitter just said we now still have $10 M to spend with giving up Prado's contract. Do we go after a bench bat or are we done?

What number will JUP wear? Surely the Braves won't let him get #10.

I imagine we'll sit on most of that to see what kind of needs we need to fill closer to the trade deadline.

That's what I'm saying. Like at worst all you need to do is work on fixing 3rd base going forward. Which you should expect with Chipper going out any ways. They even kept the two pieces I wanted to keep most in Teheran and Gattis if needed to make a move or whatever down the road.

Exactly. and some dude in other thread questioning players embracing the trade. They are going to all love playing together.
