I'm losing faith BJ will get out of this.

He's not going to even approach the Mendoza line this season I'm afraid. He's just not anywhere close right now. Heyward and Uggla are garbage too, but they are at least drawing walks.

I'm okay with Dan because he gets his walks and he's still on pace for 30 bombs even while hitting .190

Yeah I'm definitely concerned about BJ. We're 2 months through the season. Not good.

Me too. I have kind of accepted the reality that Uggla is never going to hit .260 like he did in Miami, but if he can maintain an OBP around .300 and hit 25-30 HRs, he's at least contributing.

exactly. 5 out of 7 full years, he's hit at least 30 HRs and was 3 HRs shy his rookie year of making that 6 of 7. his worst year was 19 and 78, but had a career high 94 walks. we love to hate him, but he is capable of producing in every area except hitting for average.

how did he catch that?
just wow

Damn Heyward's unlucky. He's been putting the bat on the ball, with nothing to show for it

Freddie got hosed that AB with that second strike call.

He's been struggling since the end of April, been pretty bad all month outside of drawing walks.

We've caught a case of the Barves.

It's starting to worry me how this team is 100% feast or famine, and the feast stage lasts 10 days, and the famine stage lasts 10 days. They just completely go into the tank in every phase when they get off the high of a winning streak.

Nothing like Zimmerman hitting 3 jacks for my fantasy and Gnats losing
Let's score some runs this inning

Yep, but that's mostly due to half our team being worst hitter in baseball bad. So when the other half isn't hot we suck balls. BJ, Heyward, Uggla, and Juan are contributing almost nothing offensively, so if Freddie, Mac, Gattis, or Justin aren't smacking the ball we really have nothing to fall back on.
