I'm scared to ask but what happened to Medlen?

Uggla has been pretty close to league average for 2B. .710 OPS is not close to worst hitter in baseball bad.

This Uggla-Juan-BJ order is killing us.

Took a liner off the back of his right(?) knee.. diagnosed with a knee contusion.. He is said to be safe to make his next start.

Here comes a fastball right down broadway for strike 3
ETA: well it was a fast down straight down the middle.. At least he made contact?

I would DFA Juan if I'm being honest.

I don't understand how your timing can be so off at this point in the season. He isn't seeing the ball at all.

Doesn't really change my overall point in any way here, most of Uggla's OPS is OBP driven, and he is hitting in spots where we need runs driven in (right behind guys like Justin, Freddie, and Mac who are on base a ton).
Coming in to tonight both Uptons and Uggla had 30 ABs with RISP, BJ was hitting .067, Uggla .133, and Justin .200 with RISP. Simmons leads the team with 41 ABs with RISP and has a .220 BA. It's nearly impossible to score runs with those kinds of numbers, and completely impossible to be consistent.
If it wasn't for Freddie and Gattis clobbering the ball with RISP we would have a hard time scoring at all without HRs.

I'm leaning that way myself. Chris Johnson would be pretty horrible defensively at 3B full time, but Juan is a black hole at the plate right now.

Freddie, Mac, Gattis, and CJohnson are the only guys I have any faith in to get a hit with RISP.
