Somebody called me out for dogging JHey a couple weeks back regarding him being a 5-tool player.

I don't get the hype for a guy batting sub .200 and constantly injured. I've been wrong before though.

The argument in his defense is mostly just potential + youth. Every day that passes with him continuing to be a terrible hitter renders the youth half of that equation weaker and weaker though.

I have thought for a while that he and Freeman are Frenchy and McCann all over again.

Gee, maybe it's the gold glove quality defense in RF plus the .849 OPS in 2010 and .814 OPS last year?

His streakiness would scare me from ever signing him to a huge long term deal, but if you don't understand the hype you have issues understanding baseball.

Yeah, I agree to a large extent. Freddie and Justin are the two I'd like to see us extend to long term deals, along with Simmons if he has a decent year with the bat.
